CeaseFirePA was stuck in an expensive and inflexible proprietary system. The organization was busy and growing, but their site and supporter communications couldn’t keep up. The great folks at Englin Consulting brought me in to see if I could help.
So we did a redesign with a WordPress implementation, and some neat custom content types to display their one of a kind Courtwatch reports. A story telling section highlights videos from both the organization’s stories and the testimony of Pennsylvanians impacted by gun violence.
And the site is responsive in more than the typical way. A mix of automated updates and editorial control ensure they can maintain a professional appearance while being nimble enough to respond to unfortunate events in the news cycle.
