Take Back Your Meds is a collaborative campaign in Washington of health organizations, police, drugstores, local governments, environmental groups, and others to have drug companies pay for secure and environmentally sound take-back programs for leftover medicines. We helped them develop an online approach and website design for implementation in Plone by the talented and professional team at TenTilNine.

The Coral Reef Alliance

CORAL.org came to us with an outdated website and a whole array of stand alone web applications that needed to be brought into alignment in one system so we provided a usabiltiy and technology audit and then a complete re-design of their site on the Drupal content management system. A complete set of email templates, key infographics and online marketing graphics rounded out the project.

The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict (founded by Gene Sperling and Angelina Jolie and announced at the Clinton Global Initiative in 2007) wanted a Web site that explained their unique collaborative approach to bringing education to kids in the worst circumstances. Dagwood Reeves worked some Drupal + Paypal donations + Salesforce CRM magic to build out the design for the robust peer to peer fundraising platform that features an entire registry of support options for the partner organizations.

The Jewish New Media Innovation Fund

Blueprint Research + Design asked us to help design and develop a simple small site and grant application for the newly launched collaboration of the Jim Joseph Foundation, Righteous Persons Foundation, and Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation. A simple logotype will allow them to evolve gracefully as they explore the fund in their pilot year. WordPress as a CMS makes sure that site updates are quick and easy.

The Aspen Institute

A new video section was just one of several projects we have been working on for the Aspen Institute. The unique landing page highlights current features and incorporates social media navigation for easy sharing. A series of templated options was developed for the individual program sections as well, which allows for customization while maintaining cohesive design standard and easy implementation.

Working with Sea Change Strategies, we created this star-studded Flash quiz for the IRC’s celebration fo World Refugee Day in 2009 and it has since found a permanent home on their site. Find out how much you know and learn some surprising facts about refugess by trying it yourself.

National Audubon Society

Partnering again with Sea Change Strategies we helped The National Audubon Society craft a simple Flash quiz to highlight the important information in their Birds and Climate report.
As part of their awareness campaign, we built an interactive quiz with their questions and the great illustrations of Sherrie York. Customizations, such as a drag and drop to match birds with the distance they shifted north as a result of climate change, led to a highly engaging way to help their supporters understand the issues and spread the word to their friends and family. In 2007 the scariest thing we did was to overhaul NaNoWriMo’s beloved flash author pages so that they would stop bringing the servers and administrators crashing down. The new look and feel needed to please returning users and be easy and fun for newbies to set up.
Response to the new look, improved usability and added functionality (we also styled some spiffy dynamic flash word count graphs) has been overwhelmingly positive among their dedicated members as well as the web staff.
